System Miami, Inc. Programs offer a variety of opportunities for young teens wanting to become athletes to discover and refine their skills while cultivating a passion for a sport. Through age-appropriate team play, athletes begin to build positive character traits that will allow them to encourage, strengthen, and motivate themselves and their fellow teammates. As they learn and follow game rules, young athletes will also learn the value of sportsmanship with a healthy competitive spirit.
System Miami is designed for aspiring young teens to experience the chance that will develop the total athlete mentally, athletically, spiritually, and socially. System Miami, Inc. helps young athletes discover and develop the skills they need to perform both on and off the field or court. It also creates individuals of strong character, confidence, and faith.
The consistency of training and practice is important to making good decisions. Everyone who ever plays a sport will have to make decisions, and make them quickly. An athlete that practices consistently will not only have opportunity to make quick decisions, but the chance is greater that they will make the right decisions. Giving athletes opportunities to learn from their bad decisions and mistakes will help them in real game situations to make the right decision that will benefit their team in the short-term, and them individually in the long-term. The importance of learning proper decision-making will benefit young athletes off the court as well.
Participation in the System Miami Youth Sports Program, players will be educated and equipped to develop mentally, athletically, spiritually, and socially. We at SMI want to cultivate our players’ love for sports and introduce them to life’s bigger messages and lessons.
System Miami, Inc. will instill our athletes with more complex teaching on not only the sport they play, but also on the importance of living a well centered life and what that looks like in their interaction with others.

“When the going gets tough, the tough get going” is one way to say it. Or, as one sports psychologist put it, mental toughness is “the ability to consistently perform toward the upper range of your talent and skill regardless of competitive circumstances.”
